Mark 12:41-44

The Widow’s Offering

41 Jesus sat down opposite the place where the offerings were put and watched the crowd putting their money into the temple treasury. Many rich people threw in large amounts. 42 But a poor widow came and put in two very small copper coins, worth only a few cents.

43 Calling his disciples to him, Jesus said, “Truly I tell you, this poor widow has put more into the treasury than all the others. 44 They all gave out of their wealth; but she, out of her poverty, put in everything—all she had to live on.”

1.Threw

Pride

1.Having wrong intentions in heart on other Person

2.They don't take advice from others

3.They alwalys wanted to preferences and places

4.They spoil others also to spread bad rummors

5.Pride is poision feeding their own heart (Killing themselves)


Note:- Giving without Love inside

Note:- Pride and worldly & sinful lifestyle

They all gave out of their wealth

2.Our character before offering

Matthew 5:23-24
 “Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother or sister has something against you, 24 leave your gift there in front of the altar. First go and be reconciled to them; then come and offer your gift.

Note:- Put more into the treasury than all the others. 

This comes out through Love and first priority towards God

Note:- Love and obedience towards God in Giving

Note:- HE IS SEEING YOUR CHARACTER AT SITUATION

1.Serving 

2.Helping others

3.Prayering , worshipping together as church

4.Sharing his words to world

Note:- GOD WAS NOT INTERESTED ON YOUR MONEY BUT HE IS SEEING YOUR CHARACTER AT SITUATION OF GIVING ???


3.Women offered

Note:- God's needs who offers not throwing

Jesus said, “Truly I tell you, this poor widow has put more into the treasury than all the others.

But she, out of her poverty, put in everything—all she had to live on.

Note:- TAKE THIS LIFE LORD ,this is really offering 

1.Offering our life means yielding control, letting God direct our choices and priorities

2.Our life belongs to God, so dedicating it back to Him is an act of worship
