Robert Moffat
(1795-1883)
Robert Moffat was a Scottish Congregational missionary sent by the London Missionary Society.
He served for nearly 50 years among the Tswana (Bechuana) people in present-day Botswana and South Africa.
Scottish missionary to South Africa who translated the first Bible into Tswana.
Testimony:- Robert Moffat sacrificed comfort and recognition to spend nearly fifty years translating the Bible and planting the gospel among the Tswana people of Southern Africa.
