LESSONS OF GOOD LEADERSHIP
TRUE SERVANT
1.Testimony
Note:- Your Represent and standing behalf of GOD
Hebrews 4:12
12 For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart
1 Timothy 4:6-16
A Good Servant of Christ Jesus
Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity
1 Corinthians 2:1-5
2 And I, when I came to you, brothers, did not come proclaiming to you the testimony of God with lofty speech or wisdom. 2 For I decided to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ and him crucified. 3 And I was with you in weakness and in fear and much trembling, 4 and my speech and my message were not in plausible words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, 5 so that your faith might not rest in the wisdom of men but in the power of God
1 Timothy 6:12
12 Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called and about which you made the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.
2.Be part in Body of christ (Church)
Note:- obedience towards leeadership because God has kept you be faithful
Unity and Maturity in the Body of Christ
Ephesians 4:11-12
11 So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, 12 to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up
1.BUILDING
Note:- Now days so many pastors are busy in building their buildings , families , business , But God called them to build his Kingdom
Note:- Matthew 19:21
Jesus answered, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.”
2.FUNCTIONING EVERY PART OF BODY
Note:- No system works alone. For example, the respiratory system supplies oxygen to the circulatory system, which delivers it to muscles for movement.
Note:- In the sameway all belivers should come in one accord (one mind ) then only we can build God's Kingdom
3.Burden for Raising Disciple for God's Kingdom
John the Baptist preaching turned many sinners to righteousness and made "a people prepared for the Lord" (Luke 1:16-17). He prepared the people for Christ's first coming. It is our job to prepare the world for Christ's second coming (Matthew 28:18-20)
1.Spoken by the angel Gabriel to Zechariah, announcing the birth of John the Baptist
2.John’s role is framed as a forerunner of Christ, echoing Old Testament prophecy (especially Malachi 4:5–6)
3.The imagery of Elijah connects John’s ministry to a prophetic tradition of calling Israel back to covenant faithfulness.
“He will turn many of the children of Israel to the Lord their God.”
- Spiritual revival: John’s ministry was about repentance—turning hearts back to God
- National significance: Israel had drifted into ritualism and complacency; John’s call was a wake-up to genuine faith
- Fulfillment of prophecy: This echoes Elijah’s work of calling Israel away from idolatry toward Yahweh.
“He will go before him in the spirit and power of Elijah…”
- Spirit of Elijah: Not literal reincarnation, but a prophetic mantle—boldness, confrontation of sin, and zeal for God’s honor
- Turning hearts of fathers to children: Restoring relationships, symbolizing reconciliation within families and communities
- Disobedient to wisdom of the just: Transformation of moral character—leading people from rebellion to righteousness
- Prepared people for the Lord: John’s ultimate mission was to prepare Israel to receive Christ by repentance and baptism.
Important
Hebrews 13:17
17 Have confidence in your leaders and submit to their authority, because they keep watch over you as those who must give an account. Do this so that their work will be a joy, not a burden, for that would be of no benefit to you
Note:- This is very important you're responsible for everything and what they do and how they live
Note:- God will ask you
